In for repair...

8.30pm. Parked up, engine off, looked in mirror all clear opened door, bang. She slammed straight into the inner door. Checked she was ok, she was. Door wouldnt shut, pulled hinge away a tad. Called Admiral, cars already been taken and will be in repair tomorrow morning. Courtesy car here in the morning.

Sorry to hear that Warren at least you wasn't getting out at point of impact and everybody was ok!

I do hope so as i promised my cousin the car at the weekend as he is getting married.

Would they give me a RRS?????????????????

They guy that just picked the car up said "kin ell, how fast was she going to pull the hinges out".

I kid you not she came outta bloody nowhere, i even looked in mirror as i opened it.

I think she came out from behind just at that moment, she was going some, it was a BANG.

I did exactly the same thing luckly it was in our company banger - a Peugeot 406 - ripped the door and the front wing off, luckily no one hurt, I double check before opening the door now Embarassed

If youre car is under the original land rover warranty they will replace like for like. I know my previous LR was in the garage more time than some of the staff!

However, it will come from enterprise. and if its the same car i drove to paris.... well dont hold youre breath.. I drove to calais with the bonnet tied down with two timberland boot laces. Like for like
