I thought all D3s/RRS have electronic handbrakes so that when it is on and you apply accelerator it releases the handbrake and off you go.

My 07 does.

England 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue

My 55 plate S/C works the same, parking brake applied then it releases when you press the accelerator.
I think I have a problem with the park brake releasing on the rear drivers side wheel though as the brake, wheel and tyre heats up 50% hotter than the other 3 wheels. This is a speratic issue though. only seems to happen once a fortnight or so.
