Rumoured to be 2013, after the next FFRR is launched as the next RRS will be based on an RR not a Disco platform 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I seen a article that stated late 2012, 400-500Kgs weight reduction, 8 speed auto. start-stop. All the usual latest goodies.

If its that much of a reduction it will be the same size as a freelander! Just look at the cayenne/Tuareg , the new ones are well smaller! MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps!

New Cayenne and Touareg are actually bigger, (100mm longer), the main area where they expect to remove the weight is from the chasis. The RRS will have an all alloy chasis. Cheers |

Why would Ford need to give final approval??
