Yes, these are the easy runs, no really offroad stuff. Your RRS will have no problems on these ones so long as you don't have huge wheels (very low profile tyres on big wheels tend to suffer from "pinch" flats on gravel roads). I'm not sure of the route yet but suspect it will be a run from Aberfoyle through the forests out to Comer - a remote cottage on the banks of Loch Lomond, normally inaccessible except on foot or mountain bike. It is at the north foot of Ben Lomond. Can be muddy if it rains but even a 2WD Freelander2 will handle this one with ease! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Endjin I have no idea! The club was only started last week as the result of a rift between the Committee of the SLROC and the committee member who used to run the Green Road Runs. He, along with several others who enjoyed the GRR's, have started their own breakaway club to cater for what was one of the SLROC's more popular events. The March 20th meeting will be the first meet-up. Maybe you could email them and ask them what their intentions are.............. I m not yet a member of the new club, let alone an office bearer. Was going to do this but D3's still unwell and about to en 2nd bottle of vino tinto.

No RRS's there, No Freely2's, 1 D3 (Navigator) 1 L322 (not mine I went in the 90) 1 Ford Ranger pickup, 2 Series landies and
1 Disco 1 Commercial, and 12 Defenders of various ages. Brillant gentle drive out on easy tracks, bit spoiled by low cloud but as we desended the 1500ft in 1/2mile section the clouds broke up and we had stunning views across Loch Lomond to the Arrochar Alps/ Loch Long and to the Loch Sloy hydroelectric scheme. We even managed to get in some snow driving as there were still lots of patches on the track. Will post my photos and Video in Photobucket tonight when I have better bandwidth and I'll put a link to the album on here.
