Having read a little on the FFRR site, I noticed there is a statement in the FFR handbook that says something along the lines of "Only select access ride height when the vehicle is moving" (although it does then go on to say that, in extremis, access height can be selected when stationary but to expect "noises" from the suspension system).

I don't know about FFRR, but I would not seem logical to me to only be able to select Access Height when the vehicle is moving! Would one then kick granny out of the passenger door asap before the vehicle comes to a complete halt?

If you select Access height when moving there is probably a bit less stress on the system. '08 RRS TDV8

On the D3 certainly, due to the suspension geometry the wheels move (rotate) slightly when the suspension height is changed.
