2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Freight for order

I need to import car parts from the US.
The US seller tells me I should find a freight for order company to have the items delivered in the US,
than have it shipped to Europe.
Cannot find anything like this on Google.
Any idea ? 2010 TDV6 3.0 HSE Santorini Black Tan Full Leather

I think it will depend on your purchase terms with the US company.
Are you buying the parts ex works? Can you not get a FOB or C&F price?

Supposing you are buying ex works, you will need to appoint a local freight forwarder who will arrange all the necessary. If the items are packed for shipment then the forwarder will collect the items, clear all paperwork (customs, exports permits etc.) and ensure that the goods are safely loaded onto the vessel.

You may want to appoint another forwarder in the UK itself to do the necessary clearing of goods and perhaps include delivery. All the above will cost you and it will be prudent to agree on the fees beforehand.

Alternatively, you could appoint a local UK forwarder/customs agent to do everything from the UK itself. This local guy will have contacts with their counterparts in the US and they will be able to arrange everything. Again, it will be better to agree to all terms first before engaging.

This is what we will do from here anyway. Wink Malaysia Boleh!
