How superbly observant of you "Skywalker" you are correct the search facility does bring up that thread. However the more educated of us are concerned about areas to avoid subjecting to water under pressure, along with personal opinions of people who have actualy done the task in hand, not just "use 303 it's rearly good"

The point I was trying to elaborate with previous post was that the search function is basicly crap. Its "searching" capabilities searched for a exit and once it found one it used it.

I use a brush with Megs APC or super degreaser, rinsed off low pressure

I would be very wary of spraying water in the engine bay area as there are modules that are not waterproof and rely on splash guards and things in the way to protect them from water splashed up from below but not from above.

Had problems with mine after pressure washing. Used the pressure washer from a distance aswell. All was fine until a couple of hours later when the alarm was going off and the car kept locking and unlocking it's self. Dash board, radio & satnav were also going on and off. Only way to stop it was to start the car. Took it for a drive to dry it and all was fine till 4 in the morning when it started again. |
