Sat nav screen

On my journey home from work i noticed the sat nav screen had a slight flicker and looked quite dim.
Got home, turned engine off, restarted and screen was back to it's usual brightness, Is there an issue with screens?
The car is going in for front suspension repairs in a couple of weeks so may as well add to the job list if there's a known issue.

Seven weeks into ownership, two confirmed faults plus one pending (sat nav) but still love the car Mr. Green
Thank god for the LR warranty Thumbs Up

did you have your lights on auto
If so the sat nav screen should dim when the lights are on.
Thumbs Up

The lights were set to auto but were off as it was daylight.
It happened again today, screen very dim so turned engine off, restarted and back to full brightness Confused

mine sometimes dim and sometimes not, I just take it as a landrover quirk
have you tried adjusting the dash board light level, my sat nav brightness changes with the dash, when on auto. Dash brightness is just under light switch.

Not another quirk Laughing
My car used to move the seat back and forth when putting the key in the ignition, not any more. It sometimes beeps when its finished lowering to access mode and sometimes it doesn't.

I believe there is a light sensor for the satnav ive heard that they are prone to go faulty and you need a new sensor, mine does the same, nice and bright one minute dim the next Rolling Eyes Seen as i don't use the satnav it doesn't bother me but if things are in place to work i also believe they should. I will get mine sorted soon.
