Front lights, how has this been done?

Just browsing the various sites to get some ideas for wheels etc on my HST and this popped up -

http://pistonheads.com/sales/largepic.asp?...ROVERSPORT

How have they got rid of the orange on the front lights? It looks so much better!!

Cheers

They do it in a very cheap and nasty way - by way of some shiny black adhesive tape. Very permanent but still just tape....

Yes by taking the light unit out, opening up the casing, taking out the orange reflector and inserting a new silver, blackened strip....i think hair dryers needs to be used on the unit as the headlight is sealed I think....or something like that....i have heard people put the lights in an oven too!!

took the headlights out that takes 2 mins,
