Hi 2R

Kinda feels like you are trying to herd cats sometimes, doesn't it ???

Is there a drop dead date on the accommodation quoted rates ? Just a white TDV8 with a few extras

So until there's more positive replies to the PM, or to this thread then I'd suggest you not book anything yet!

Further to the costs email you all have, I am catching up with Rimini tomorrow for a coffee and hope to have the rough itinerary drfated such that all who want to commit can make their bookings at the Black Spur.

I've sent an email to all who've expressed an interest.

Rimini has proposed a day 4wdriving around Narbething on the Sat, and a day around the wineries in the Sun, with dinner each night back at the Black Spur Inn.

Afternoon, apologies for the late notice but we are going to be non-straters for this trip. Due to a change in family circumstances we are unable to find someone to look after our 4 year old daughter.

I hope you all have a great time and we'll hopefully catch up again soon. 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey with Alpaca premium leather, Adaptive cruise, Adaptive Bi-xenons, sunroof, Premium Nav, Premium ICE Logic 7, telephone, active locking rear diff, console coolbox, seat memory, powerfold mirrors, tow pack, window tint, dual battery, engel fridge, Goodyear Mud-Terrain tyres.

the beauty of her being just four is that you can still get her into bars, nightclubs, wineries and tattoo parlours and most people will just smile and say "how cute". Once they hit five though people will think you're a little damaged. 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

For any late Ring-ins here is the rough agenda. We have 6 Sports confirmed as attending. (I will be RRS-less at this point)

Accommodation is at Black Spur from Fri 18th, Sat 19th and optionally Sunday 20th.

Dinner is at the Black Spur Inn at approx 7.30 Pm Friday night 18th Feb - subject to interstate arrivals (Zilch dodging the cyclones en-route from Queensland)

Saturday will be spent off-roading around the forests in Narbothang. Intent is for a BBQ lunch in the forest

On Saturday dinner will be back at the Black Spur Inn

Sunday Breakfast will be in Healesville at Innocent Bystander

We then head to Yeringberg Winery (1860s winery building, spectacular property, working sheep station). We’ll have a look around there, learn some history of the region, taste some superb wines.

Then we will swing by Yarra Valley Dairy and on to Punt Road Wines for a further tasting , tour of a larger modern winemaking facility, and informal BBQ lunch.

Those also staying on Sunday night dinner will be back at Black Spur Inn

Rain, roads and a B-Plan

Just wondering if all that rain has had much impact on the area we are heading for our off-road day and if so, do we have a Plan B?

Anyone local know the best way for us New South Welshman to get to the Black Spur? 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6
