So what do the panel think of this on ebay?

Well, at least they did not use a real Type E.

In one of the early Paris-Dakar, a team, Italian if I remember correctly, raced a Range Rover chassis with a Rover SD1 body. '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

Why do such a thing.... And even if you are why use an old P6 block????

SD1 blocks are 10 a penny, I've got 3 myself in the garage. Much stronger, easier to tune etc...

You haven't got a running Rover V8 less carbs have you? A bit of a boat project I'm trying to finish off... Very Happy

Everything I have is in component form mate. As two are good sold blocks awaiting rebuild and one is a coffee table in the conservatory.
