How do I switch on the Air Con?

Not had the car for long I was driving home last night in the rain, had the blower/heating on auto temp setting, it was blowing air out but the windows were steaming up? Is the air con not automatic when using the blower in the auto mode Question Question Cheers Laurence.

The only time ive had this happen is when the carpets are damp from a valet or damp from getting in and out when wet outside, when the heater is on hot becauseits cold, the damp evaporates and condencates on the screen.

Turn the front heated screen on to demist it.

If auto is selected then the air/con is on, you would also have an Econ button which blows air without the draining any additional power or fuel Thumbs Up BLACK RRS HST 3.6 MY08

Doesn't the Econ button turn off the air con?

On the right you have 3 buttons, bottom being rear demister, middle front heated screen and top button is programmed to adjust everything to the settings they need to be to demist. Just press this top button.
