Fuel discounts for remote areas - idea

The gov is talking about a way to stabalise the price of fuel and to give rural areas discounts.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12203099

I hope they remember to include the remote areas of Surrey. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Current prices here are Petrol 140p per litre and Diesel143p per litre. Surrey and Cobham drivers are welcome to come and fill their tanks at these low prices anyday. Mr. Green

That's because you live above the shop and are a Dominos gold card holder! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Usually 8p -10p difference with the Big Smoke (Inverness) but at the mo only 3p so not too bad. Mind you it starts to hurt when D3 used locally a lot at the mo and getting 14mpg! Big Cry Big Cry

diesel is $1.30 here in rural Queensland, even with short supply due to floods which has pushed the price up, that's 80 pence per litre in the old pounds, shillings and groats currency Laughing Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Will this mean with the new fuel rationing proposals that rural areas will have to go without Whistle

Italy 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Sounds similar to a system we had in this area of Italy until a while a go, basically fuel was much cheaper in Slovenia which is only 20km from here and on the weekends all the locals would go and fill up there at nearly half the cost!!

Government put in a discount card which was paired to the registration and the closer to Slovenia you were, the more discount! RRS TDV8 HSE 2007- JAVA Black/Black interior,
