The gov is talking about a way to stabalise the price of fuel and to give rural areas discounts.

Usually 8p -10p difference with the Big Smoke (Inverness) but at the mo only 3p so not too bad. Mind you it starts to hurt when D3 used locally a lot at the mo and getting 14mpg! |

diesel is $1.30 here in rural Queensland, even with short supply due to floods which has pushed the price up, that's 80 pence per litre in the old pounds, shillings and groats currency  Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Rats, since I published the low price of diesel here in Shetland they have increased the price to 145.9p per litre. |

Sounds similar to a system we had in this area of Italy until a while a go, basically fuel was much cheaper in Slovenia which is only 20km from here and on the weekends all the locals would go and fill up there at nearly half the cost!!
