After VA I think I was the second member here to take delivery of an RRS - 1st June 2005. IIRC VA got his a couple of days before me. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I thought calling you a petrol head was a touch more polite than saying take your anorak off and get out more.

No warranty sometimes you just have to take a chance. If bought from dealers with warranty I would have paid a lot more money, so what I saved on warranty plus dealers mark up I take the chance JOHN

Had mine for about a month LOVE IT!!

No problems here 06 on a 55plate S/C all the bells and knobs just 44k on the clock. No LR warranty but have a WMS warranty (3rd party warranty) Have one on my other XKR they are brilliant! Already claimed off it when my mum broke the door handle by tugging on locking knob to open the door, 1st week I owned it Anyway they have already paid up to have it fixed - no fuss!!

Never had such a nice car with so much on it! There’s no going back now - looks good, loads to play with, versatile, go anywhere, good family car, great sports car, lovely ride, safe .......... Just do it!!!!

I bought mine, an '08 3.6td, hst about 8 months ago - and can't be faulted.

Mind, I live in North East where we have had very severe weather. But I can go through 2' of snow in the snow mode. I rescued my Mother, Lady E' several times as she lives on Higher ground, just in County Durham.

It is the best Car I have ever had to be honest. Goes Like a train; an Inter City express not a cho cho if you et me. It can carry 5 big lads - and swallow 4 sets of Clubs and wheels for the old Golf game.

What's the problem old son? Change it if it that bad - under Merchandise and Goods Act 1974. Dealer should put it right. Be difficult - it is your money.

Buy, enjoy and relax. Get the bigger engine though...3.6 only and maybe go to £25k at least.

There is one member here who bought his new pride and joy TDv8 from a main delaer but not an LR MD. Looked lovely, gleaming Stornoway Grey and then he mentioned it had an Alpacca interior and we all chimed "That's impossible" - but he did have that interior and he also found out when something had to be looked at that the inner wings were painted in a shade of Buckhamham blue or Lugano Teal................... at least the dealers replaced the car with another but had he not joined here he might not have been any the wiser that Stornoway grey RRS's never had Alpacca Interiors let alone dark blue inner wings! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I felt same as you. Read blogs and saw negative comments BUT bought a 09 HSE, have had it 2 years and no problems except for $60 light sensor which i will replace next week. Out of all the cars I've owned this is by far my favorite. Absolutely love it!!
