I have an ipad too, and would probably just use it in the same way, but at least with Office on it,will let me be more functional - as my Mac Book pro is 17'' - and too big to carry around.....

That was my point mate, because you can't get office on the ipad is why I want to get something smaller, other than my Pro which is 17''

The Macbook Air wakes up instantly as well, just like the iPad. It seems I have bought the right toy for travelling! Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

I think you have, but you have to be sure you will use the Air for stuff you wouldn't have used the ipad for, because if you don't, thats £1000 spent when you didn't really need to.

There is a stand we can buy here which holds the iPad in landscape with which you can use the bluetooth keyboard, I am sure it must be available in the UK. Its not an Apple product, I saw it in a store a month or so ago.

We have the same stand here, a steel holder, and yes the keyboard would be a good option for it, although shame you can't use a bluetooth mouse with it.

Thanks mate - PM if you prefer, but could I get a better price for them both? I am going to look on ebay and see how prices compare, but happy with what you're asking, so will give it some thought and will let you know |
