New Vehicle owner and i'm struggling with a few s/w issues...

How do you adjust the 'Tone control'

this is for the base,treble,balance and volume settings for the various audio alerts (sat nav voice etc) & audio players.

The manual just says hit the Tone soft button (after pressing settings)
which according to the manual means a button press on the touch screen,
well weve looked everywhere and can't find this button.

anyone know how and where this adjustment is ?

Is not on the touch screen, it's the music symbol on the dashboard stereo controls, immediately to the right of the volume knob. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award
