Trip Computer A B & Auto how-to's please

New Rangey owner struggling with a few user issues

The manual states that the car has 3 trip computer setting
Trip Computer A B & Auto
and by pressing the 'i' button on the end of the stalk selects between each trip

well it doesn't on our vehicle

the only way to change the trips is to go into the menu via the steering wheel buttons.
well that's the only way i seem to be able to do it..

also can anyone explain exactly what the 'auto' function does to ?

You do need to switch between them using the settings menu. Auto basically just resets automatically each time you start the engine. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award
