2006 rrs few questions

hi, recently bought a 2006 rrs, I think it has every extra apart from the fridge, and love it. A few things that i've tried searching for but not had any luck, so if someone could answer be much appreciated Smile

Where is this aux port that I have a button for, I can't find it anywhere? is this the best solution for playing iphone music? (i dont want a fm trans..)

The AV1 and AV2, can these be displayed on the touchscreen or only on the rear screens?

I keep reading about a tv button but I don't seem to have it, was this another extra? How can I get it, as want digital tv.

Thanks and happy new year Smile

Can't answer your other questions.. but the aux port is at the rear of the center console under the lift up flap near the rear heater vents Thumbs Up Cheers Paul

Thanks is that on the passenger side? Do I need to remove anything and any special cable? Too late to pop outside now and look!

No it's in the back of the center console just behind the cubby box, if you sit in the rear middle seat you'll find it near the heater vent outlets..

I don't know what cable you need as I've never used it. Cheers Paul

You need a cable with a standard headphone (3.5mm) jack at both ends. I have a 1 metre cable, which works fine for the iphone.

A minijack to minijack lead will work but since there is also a power outlet under the flap i use a lead which plugs into the power socket and it has a jack attached. The other end goes to an ipod type flat plug which plugs into the ipod. It charges and plays brilliantly. It is available at the Apple store.

I have my ipod touch attached to the edge of the dash near my left knee with a small piece of velcro. The car ipod touch stays in the car so i dont have to keep pulling it on or off. Its easy to change tracks using the ipod screen.

Does that help? Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Another option but not fitted to yours.

You will need TV tuner box and an interface to plug into rear of Stat nav module

why does it need to plug into the rear of the sat nav module (is that the one under driver seat?), and do you have a make/model of where I can get this from. thanks

This also works very well...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0011UK2HE/ref=oss_product

Was £23 when I bought mine but come right down in price. Also comes with a remote that straps round the steering well with play, shuffle, back & forward on it. Haven't used the remote yet as I keep forgetting to get batteries so can't coment on how well that works.
