LR will supply through thevspare parts department - spare parts is a separate entity and they will have them made or have stock - note though you can't buy direct from spares as accessories |

I have a good working relationship with a franchise parts dept manager and he advised me that he was unable to get these as they arent available at all. He even said if i find them on eBay for example buy them because LR havent got any and wont be making any for stock.

That's madness. Then I suppose having a HST proves a slight screw loose anyway. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

when products become end of line, the supplier does a final production run to include spares - these parts can be held at the supplier or at the OEM spares centre. The supplier will also have to give formal lead-times and prices for additional spares in case of unforeseen requirements. LR are no different. The biggest problem with spares departments is its always an afterthought and takes ages to get sorted once vehicles go into production. Normal lead-times for spares 'shouldn't' exceed 6 weeks from order from memory.

ive got a list of all part nos ill hunt it out. I think the dealer would be referring to the part no for the retro fit kit no longer being available rather than the part no for the individual parts. |

I was given a list of part numbers but the dealer told me to take no notice of them (strange) and despite me asking twice he couldnt supply them. He advised prices but said definitely no supply.
