Either RRS or D3 19s or FFRR 19s like pic, all with MTRs or ATRs/ATs.

Excellent! Those wheels and tyres are EXACTLY what I am looking for on my RRS....... Where did you get the MTR's for 19" wheels - can't seem to find them on the internet ?

And there your problems start!! You can get the rims a plenty on eBay but according to the discussion of such things Goodyear are not making the MTRs at the mo, some say they have stopped making them totally. Try Andy at AJS4x4 (sponsor D3side) as he had some in recently. Just sold my 2 sets of MTRs on D3 and could have old them 5 times over hey are so in demand. |

I was thinking of getting off road tyres but it is impossible to find AT/MTR 255/50 R19 107 Y to satisfy insurance/LR spec/warranty - Disco is ok on 55 profile so more choice

The MTR 255/55 R19 fit the RRS fine and are the best off road tyre. Be aware though that they aren't great for on road use. They are very noisy and grip isn't great. I sold mine in the end as I didn't like the on road ride.

Changed my MTRs for ATRs as not doing any mud plugging these days and moved souff to avoid snow. Well that worked out well! Also ATRs drive just like Scorps and last 40k miles. |

Beware off 55's on RRS - this is not a size recommended by LR in handbook/label on door - owners have had warranty issues and insurance companies class these as vehicle modification so may invalidate insurance if not informed/approved Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW Still hoping for a S2 one day! |

Know the problem but in reverse. RRS new take off wheels & road tyres are often cheap as chops (bit more than chips) but the tyres are too small and under on weight rated. No good if you want to stay strictly within spec. |

Phone site sponser AJS tyres, they can deliver and will no whats what. A quick phone call to your insurance company before fitting will see if they have any problems ( translates to extra premiums) |
