Buying a RRS without warranty?

What are your thoughts on not having a warranty. A friend of mine is able to get a good deal, but no warranty and no history. What are your thoughts? 91 BMW 850CSI

Re: Buying a RRS without warranty?

Personally i would not buy any car without any history, let alone a £20 -30k one.

Dig deeper into the pockets and get a car with history and warranty.

Doesn't matter how good the deal is. Try selling it on with no history.

I would never buy a car without a service history let alone a RRS the damage that can be caused by these cars not being maintained properly will cost you a fortune in the long run. The deal will never be good enough!

F""k that,

Mine was an immaculate and I mean immaculate example with low miles and had obviously been looked after.

without warranty mine would have cost me £1000 in faults

Without the history its hard to prove whats been done at all,

I would of considered mine without warranty but not without history,

I advised the person who bought mine against extending the warranty due to it having the history that all the common problems had been sorted

Same, I wouldn't buy a RRS without history or warranty.

My warranty claims alone in the first year was totalled around £1500 Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"
