glad you've joined.......I'm thinking of swapping my RRS for the Cayenne S Hybrid and would like to pick your brains....in fact I have one for the day on Saturday......what do you think of it, any pros/cons/things to look out for?

It's was ok, handled well but it has to be the ugliest car on the road. Off road it's ok but not a patch on the RRS. Got rid of it a few months ago now and haven't looked back.

Hi all - just decided to register after many months of lurking and learning!! I have a 2008 RRS (my 11th LR vehicle - you think I'd learn by now wouldn't you!!) - just wanted to say how much I enjoy this forum and using it as a source of info - look forward to joining in with posts in the future - will post some photos of the 'Beast' in due course.

Hi everyone
I've been hovering around for a few months since I purchased my 06 rrs hse.
Thought it time I registered and say hi.

I've been (touch wood) lucky with my rrs. 10k in 4 months (got car with 30k) and no issues apart from it started knocking over bumps recently with this cold weather.
After Reading loads of posts re this it does sound very common so not concerned at the moment. Will probably have polybushes fitted (arb) when I get chance.

Problem is I can't stop driving it!!! Love it.

Thanks Martin for helping get me get logged into site, I currently own a V8 HST Alaska White Range Rover Sport, also own a ex utilities Defender TD5 work horse.which helps with all this snow.

Hi all - just joined the site from Canberra in Australia.

I just took delivery of my 07MY TDV6 yesterday and spent all day getting our equivalent of MOT and registration (Taxed) in my territory (like a State).

Hi there, I have just chopped in my 05 Disco 3 for a new RRS SE in white, cos it was the only on they had, I've had 5 happy years in my Disco, my 5th, and now find myself without kids so I was tempted, none of my local dealers have much new or 2nd hand stock that appealed or was affordable, but eventiually I met this Alaskan White RRS in the showroom at Stratstones in Slough. Except for the lack of DAB radio it is just right. I dont like huge wheels or sunroofs so I'm happy. Now I have 5 days to wait to go and pick it up.

Newbie here; recently swapped my 2002 Series 2 Disco for 2006 RRS HSE. If it is a reliable as the old car I will have no complaints!

At the moment I just love driving the Sport but on way to Shropshire recently I heard a loud knocking noise like a stone in a tin can! Thought it may have been from near side front wheel but the clever lady wife said it was coming from the roof - okay, I have slightly damaged hearing but sound travels when you are driving and unable to concentrate with the mind playing tricks as well!!

It proved to be the rubber seal strip above the front window having come adrift and at 50mph it started vibrating violently and knocking loudly against the roof!

Just thought I would mention this for interests sake - any noise in a new car is always worrying! Baza G
