I've heard people using very fine grade wire wool, i've used it on the bike exhaust and it was fine but never tried it on the RRS!! If it aint broke leave it!

got to agree with big mart on this one,,,solvol autosol every time.it's even good on the stainless exhaust tips |

Solvol Autosol is the best stuff for that job |

Use Autoglym chrome cleaner on mine (recomended by JKP on D3 site) - brought them up like new again |
