Cleaning under the bonner of a supercharged RRS

I took a look under the bonnet of my Super Charged RRS and was surprised at how dirty the engine bay is.
What do people do to keep it clean under there? I have a decent pressure washer but is it wise to use such a system with so many delicate electronics under the bonnet?

Thx.

Hi, yes it is safe to use a high pressure wash to clean under the bonnet. Just hose the dirt off. For more serious
grease use a degreaser then pressure off. Cheers! mike murphy

The foaming aerosol tyre shine cans also do a great job of making dirty plastic shine again under the bonnet. After going through muddy water I jet washed the engine down (very carefully) then used the tyre shine and it looked better than new. I've found the aerosol cans work better than the sprays for this. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Aerospace 303 is a protectant for plastics etc, give the plastic parts a wipe over with that once you're clean, really good stuff.

Okay thanks for the replies.....

Just to confirm that mine is the V8 Petrol engine with lots of electrics and not the smelly deisel engine that only has a few charging looms etc.

Thx.
