Surprise omissions from RRS SC Specification

Hi all

I was surprised after picking up my new to me 2005 RRS S/C a couple of days ago to find that it doesn't have some specification which i had read online would be standard on an S/C model. Items such as electrically adjustable & memory steering column and TV function are both missing. The S/C has electric memory seats so electric steering wheel was assumed and mine has the RSE factory option so again i assumed TV would be fitted.

My example shows no signs of either.

Anyone find this strange ?. Its a UK car and believed to be a First Edition btw.

Thanks

Carl

Looks normal to me... TV was an extra option on this one, electrically adjustable & memory steering column only came out from 2008 or even 2009 model.... Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

Hi Jimmy

Ok thanks, it seems i assumed incorrectly most probably because i had a FFRR Vogue in 08 which had these options. So how do i go about getting original spec TV / digital TV added to the RRS ?.

hum... other might be able to answer that easily but i think after market solutions are the "cheaper" option compare to original equipment but nevertheless would still be expensive. Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

I have thought about buying these after seeing some on eBay, are they good brochures ?. Some i have bought for other brands in the past are rubbish.

I wouldn't buy them, mine all came from the shelves of the local dealer, LR sales team or Lookers Park Royal. Such a pity that LR no longer sells them to the dealers to give away, you have to "express an interest" online to get any communications out of LR. I suppose it's all part of their ISO14001 Environmental Policy to cut down on printing and paper use. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Is it the RRS 2011 sales brochure you mean, mostly black with a blue strip in the middle? If so I had two from Land Rover a month ago. Very Happy

The 2011 RRS drivers handbook is also on the Land Rover web site if anyone wants a read.
