NAV?

Hi everyone. I'm thinking of getting the new 2011 RRS. Wanted to know if the dual screen nav will be coming out for the RRsport anytime soon? Also, how good is the premium nav? Does it have landmarks in 3D? Im moving from an Audi A5.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Welcome to the forums Imers. I thought Audis were nigh on faultless and the perfect driving machine..............

Dual view screen at the moment is only available on the RRSport's big brother the FFRR/L322 version and then on most specs it's an option not standard, for 2011MY all I have heard is that Hybrid TV will be standard rather than optional but no mention of the dual view screen - Lookers Park Royal would be the poeple to contact though as they will have an idea.

Premium Nav doesn't have 3d, basically Premium Nav in LRspeak is TMC and a very basic offroad mapping system and a facility that brings all the filling stations onto the screen when you get to the low level alarm point with your fuel tank!. TBH you are better off with a TomTom that you can update easier and has speed cams on it (the LR system doesn't show them). 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green

I think the Sat Nav is excellent once you understand it. I use a TomTom in the alfa and I do prefer the Range Rover system although it does have a couple of irritations. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Thanks for the reply and warm welcome! Have had the a5 for two years and bored with it! Love the interior of the RRsport and the ride height! Maybe being picky about the NAV because i missed the 3G nav in the a5 which annoyed me. lol Very Happy
