Sat-Nav map read DVD error! Please advise.

I have an error message when trying to input a destination to my 05 sat nav. I can't even raise the seat sufficiently to take disc out to clean or otherwise! So frustrating. DVD reader is covered by a plastic front. Any advice (humerous or otherwise) greatly appreciated.

You need to remove the plastic cover attached to the front of the seat to get access to the player, give it a good pull in a forward direction, it is attached by 2 clips and needs a fair old tug Thumbs Up

You just need to put the seat as far forward as you can. You should then have enough room to get your hand in for access. On the right hand side of the unit there is a lock/unlock slider which you will need to slide to unlock, then you will be able to eject the disc from the button on the left hand side. PS. If you are looking for a sat nav update I got a 2010 sat nav up-date disc from http://www.satnav-updates.com/ for £45 which works a treat. hope that helps Thumbs Up
