Cannot comment on the Surround Cam, but there is another Land Rover system called venture cam that can be retro fitted - it is basically a webcam that communicates with the car by Blue Tooth and used to be fitted to FFRR and may be found on ebay. I don't know if they work with RRS though. It is only a single camera though which may not be what you are looking for.

I agree, I use all cameras except two front ones. Kerb cameras are extremely useful, I use it every time I park. However, one thing LR could have changed is this: current 2010 RRS has this function, when its dark and you unlock the car lights go on as well as the lights below the side mirrors. This happens only when you unlock the car in the dark. These particular lights are powerful as they reach the ground, hence you can see the kerb in the dark. The problem with the kerb cameras is that they become useless when it's dark outside, because you cannot see the wheels nor the kerb when parking. So what LR should do is to make the side mirrors lights activate in the dark whenever the kerb cameras are on, not just when you unlock the car. So that if I am parking in dark, the lights go on, I can see the kerb and the wheel in the kerb camera and I am happy Vadim A. |

Vadim have you tried locking and unlocking the car by the key fob while you are inside it at night - not an "elegant" solution but it might solve your problem...................................
