If you want to do that, you can...........but you will have to Jailbreak. Once done, install PwnTunes and use it as a mobile device should be used, i.e transfer what you want when you want.................applies to iPhone or iPad.......

bear in mine if you have Blu-Rays that have the digital copy the sizes of these movies are huge 1.5GB Shocked which is a joke for a iphones 3.5inch screen, when a 400mb DIVX rip looks just as good

I've loaded a number of films on mine without jailbreaking it. I just used iTunes to add them as movies. I did have to convert the format first.

I went for the 64Gb model and I've already used 32Gb so I'm glad I went for the larger size. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Forget transferring film to the iPad we live in the age of mobile access

Go for airvideo and steam your movies from the home pc to your iPad anywhere in the world
Also get slingbox and send tv to the iPad great when your abroad and want to watch the football

I spend many an hour at the airport watching my movie collection - some 500 movies Life is what happens while your making plans
