2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

The deed is done - how long before the piston heads spotters comment on the reggy Whistle
I left LPR about 1:30pm and drove directly into the most amazing downpour on the M1 with loads of standing water so my shiny new car is somewhat less shiny! Obseverations so far( I'm having a break at Watford Gap Services at the mom) - it's almost silent until you step on the gas and then there is this distant purr, the rev counter shows an increase in rpm but the change is barely perceptible otherwise, it picks up it's skirts and goes, just like the RRS. 6th gear must be higher than in the old car because it's turning at about 1800 rpm at 70 compared to 2000 in the RRS, there is next to no wind noise and on the standard 19" wheels no tyre noise at all. The ave fuel consumption so far after miles and miles of 50 limit on the M1 has clicked up from leaving LPR after it sat idling while Matt did an extremely thorough handover and showed a profligate 3mpg has clicked up to 27.8 so hopeful I'll get the better side of 30mpg on the trip north.

John, wait until September and the 4.4ltr tdv8 - it has significantly lower emissions and better fuel consumption for about £2k more on the list price, but if you can't wait I'm sure James can find you a Santorinni/ ivory run out Vogue or a Santorrini/ Ebony ex demo Vogue SE 3.6 Tdv8 from his fleet! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks guys and James, great to do business with you and Matt again, I'm coming back in for a coffee in a few weeks time, but coming south by plane rather the FFRR - I know which will be the more comfortable though!
Have a great holiday when it comes too James - and yes that was some rain, even the bikers who whizzed up the M1 passing me at huge speed had to stop and take shelter under a fly-over bridge! Glad I booked into where I am staying tonight at Rugby as there is gridlock on the M6 between J1 and 3 tonight and standing traffic back to J1 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think the plate looks just fine mate........the s can mean plural and not sport!

I have to say I was never too sure about the old FFRR looks but think the new one looks amazing.
Might have to see how much it will cost me to trade the HST in for one.
