Load cover doesn't fit properly???

I noticed the other day that my load cover doesn't fit properly. It's too short but is the correct shape for the boot when pulled across and hooks in place it's just behind the seat as shown in the pictures. Any ideas? Is it meant for a different Land Rover?

Excuse the dodgy iPhone pics.

Or worse still a Disco3 or 4! At least it isn't out of a FFRR, they have a rigid loadspace cover that folds up 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

On mine if you pull to locate in slots for half opening it is the same as yours pull to fully out to cover boot and the end tapers then it completely closes the gap. Have you pulled fully out??

@Panda
I think he means that the actual Load Cover Housing doesn't extend fully across between the fixing points. Not that the flexi cover doesn't fit. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

From the photos the cover is a lot shorter than the one I have, mine is not easy to remove and never vibrates or rattles. Maybe a visit to a dealer to look in the boot of their used cars might resolve the problem, but I suspect that Big DJ nay have an F2 or D3 or D4 load cover 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Na definatly too short. There's a sprung bit on the end that holds it in place.

Mrs Endjin has a Freel2. I'll try her load cover in my RRS tonight and see if it looks like yours. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
