United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

Hi Grant

Have you got the Rear entertainment pack on your vehicle then (screens in headrests) or an aftermarket one ? On the landrover one you should be able to watch a DVD on the front screen while stationary no problem. On the touchscreen main menu there should be a button marked DVD if you press it then the DVD should play on the front screen no worries. If its an aftermarket system or the landrover one that mounts in the middle of the roof then i'm not sure if that can play on the front screen - i think you would need to find a way of routing the signal to the screen as another input. I'm sure this can be done but requires the screen taking out and a lead soldering onto one of the spare inputs on the back of the unit. Can vaugely recall someone doing this to fit a reversing camera to their car, you do need to be pretty competent with a soldering iron though. Will try and locate the post for you. 2005 TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver Ebony Interior Sunroof, RSE, Side Steps

Lads,lads,lads..........who cares about T.V in motion anyway, now that Fern has gone and there is no Kilroy whats the point??
Can someone come up with a better form of interior mirror as to assist me with putting on my makeup whilst in motion?? Drive it like you stole it,
park it like you don't care!

Is there a fix for the 10 hybrid TV in motion, reading above, dont want to send car up in flames, or go cap in hand to the Stealer to ask in embarrassment to get my TV working again. But got a 7hr drive to South Wales next week, and if hypethetically the front passenger wanted to watch TV same as rear passengers, and if theoreticlly I could rig up a Heath Robinson shield to satisy the Rozzers that the driver couldnt see it, would it be possible purple people eater

PPE, you should rip out everything and stick the system from a 2010MY FFRR in the hole - driver can see the satnav while the front pax can see the TV/DvD/PS2 at the same time with the clever dual layer screen fitted to the FFRR 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Perhaps just buy a FFRR! Remeber seeing this on Top Gear, very impressive, bet it only stays in very top model until sales slump, then cascade it down the range purple people eater

In my RS6 you could click the hand brake one notch to get the handbrake light on and watch TV up to about 5 mph when the handbrake warning chime clicked in, I would be happy enough to have something like this.

If all is wanted is to unlock the front screen when in motion, this is very easy. The screen is hooked to the 'P' brake. You just need to locate the -ng sensor wire to the 'P' brake and strap it to earth. I haven't done this yet as i've just purchased mine but will do when the weathers better and will post a how-to Thumbs Up

Umm, not so, it also takes an input from the gear selector, you have to be in Neutral/Park AND have the park brake on to get it to show on the front screen Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

What a stupid thing to even contemplate fitting. Having TV in Motion active whilst driving must be the dumbest thing a driver can do. I am surprised the forum even allows this thread, let alone posts offering means of installing it.

I don't care a damn if the driver kills himself but I do care about the innocent mother and child he runs over just when MU scores a goal.
