Indeed! "Lad's, man the anti-aircraft missiles" Conti's do tend to feather on the edges it's fair to say, but IMO they handle better on Conti's. I guess the compound must be softer? James |

The Pirellis wear on the outer edge too but it appears not to the same extent, although the set I took off last week had done 25k miles and still had 1mm all round until the tread bar was level with the rest................... Interestingly the Scorpion Snow and Ice tyres which are 19" show absolutely no wearing at all after nearly 3k miles, some of which has been in warm weather in the summer 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I ran Continentals originally and experienced all the same problems as the rest of you.

Do these go on the outer and inner edge? If so could it not be the recommended pressures are not quite right hence they go so quick? |

My con tis at 6k were looking worn on all four outers to the extent an independent dealer said they needed changing. A RR dealer said it looked like the tracking needed attention and RR sanctioned all the checks and said the vehicle was fine and it was natural wear pattern for Contis. I have now done 18k on the same tyres but the front are looking in need of a change badly. I will try Hankooks this time. |

Had mine in for a service 5 weeks ago asked about the contis they said it was normal wear even though they look f ked at 15000miles, looks like the dealers are having nothing to do with the tyre issue conti says its the normal wear pattern of the tyre in a memo to LR. Now gone Orkney grey SDV6 HSE with body style kit contrast stitch ebony leather, privacy, black piano, 22" Lowenharts for summer, 20" with Leon LTZ for winter.
