Yeah had a test drive in the RS4 a few weeks back.. bloody awesome and fantastic... the noise.. its all about the noise! did a full write up, will post the link shortly.

Nah, ths boost i mean, there is sooo much turbo lag, then woosh.. loads of wheels spin, lot of slide and you run out of puff in first and second so quick, have to get into 3rd sharpish.. 3rd is a nice long gear though.. all the way up to 80mph and beyond.. pulls nicely.. just isn't my cup of tea, nice suitably smart car to potter round in though, and lets you blend into the scenery a bit more..

Read the post test drive review and posted some approving comments too!

Like I've said earlier, I nearly bought a 9-3 Aero before the BM but during my 24hr test drive I averaged 21.4mpg! DOH!

yeah back in the day, i was that close to buying a 2.0T Aero 9-3.. 210 bhp out of a 2000cc.. front wheel drive though and a plasticy interior.. stuck to my Bmws myself as well..

Yep, you don't even have to wait any time... open the forum, see your 2000 posts, close your browser and reopen. Bingo, all gone!

I really hope there's a fix for that in the pipeline - it's doubtless the worst feature of this forum software!

It is a problem as I'm a nosy barsteward and want to see all the posts made. You end up discovering posts that are shown as read, but by the time you discover you've not read them you are 22 pages behind! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award
