MMMMmmm! My dad's mate had a few of them, 3.8l straight six XK120 roadster with about 380bhp at the rear wheels coupled with a short ratio LSD rear axle giving a topspeed of 105mph. Jamie used it for hill climbs and was quite succesful with it. Another friend had a simillar racer and a couple in concourse condition, his wife had a MGA with a Rover 3.5 V8 as a race car but I never got a run in it. Nicest cars I have driven would be a Silver Ghost style Bently, whisper smooth and quite powerful as well. fastest car I have driven must be a March F1 car from the early 70s pity I never got to fire the engine up tho but I did drive it for about 100meters to park it up after a race Most Q car is my MG ZT (Rover 75) with a 400bhp supercharged V8, 0 to 100km/h in a little over 4 seconds and a top speed of 180mph Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh Clan Cameron |

The best car i have ever driven, based upon performance: Formula Palmer Audi, but not practical for everyday use on the same day i drove a Caterham Superlight Racing Lotus Elise nearly purchased its nutty brother the Exige, . From a ownership perspective, my Scooby with Prodrive performance pack, totally mental for hacking down to Cheltenham on the A40 at the weekend, used to track and run down Boxsters in it Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Most fun I owned was my Mark II Escort 1600 crossflow full race engine. Piper cam, Group 1 head, Peco HDR exhaust, steel crank and pushrods, twin side draft Weber 40 carbs, converted 5 speed gearbox by a guy in London. Bilstein world cup suspension, and the old 4 spoke RS Alloys! 4.1 LSD in the back. It was putting out 168 bhp at the flyweel in 1988!!! Power band was 3500-9000rpm with the cam. Below 3500 all she did was splutter but from there on then HOLD ON!!!
