2010 rrs paddle shift steering wheel fitment

i know bell autos have fitted a paddle steering wheel to a 2010 rrs,but has anybody had one fitted by a land rover dealer ?

I approached a friendly local dealer and asked about this but they said they wouldn't be allowed to do it. They are easy enough to fit yourself but the paddles have to be coded to the car. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

The dealer cant fit them, the CCF and EUCD activation needed is not part of the menu in IDS/SDD i also have the dealer diagnostic tools and have verifyed this.

I have to agree with RichardM's dealer. We're happy to fit approved accessories but this is more of a modification so wouldn't want to get involved. Rolling Eyes

That aside, I'm guessing that we wouldn't know what to do with regard to Pete's voodo magic and number crunching. Laughing

We can only do things that the manufacturer approves (even if we had the knowledge and codes).
