I've been ringing around and internetting for an insurance price for my RRS when I get it, best was Direct Line (who I'm already with) @ £400. Tried all the big names and recommendations on here apart from NFU - still waiting for their "Guaranteed call back within 24hrs" since Monday. Doesn't exactly give an encouraging first impression! Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+

Rang NFU in the end, but they were about £100 more than Direct Line. Just waiting for your man Ben to get back to me with a quote, but unless he can beat it I think I'm actually going to end up going for Tesco which is just Direct Line rebranded, but it's a bit cheaper because I've got a Tesco Clubcard. My personal experience of Direct Line in the past has been surprisingly good, and they effectively offer free gap insurance for the first year on new vehicles - already had to take advantage of that once! Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+
