And remember not to leave a leave a CD in the slot once you've finished listening to it. And if you're using an iPod don't have more music on it than you really need.

Go for a personal registration with as few characters as possible, preferably numbers like '1' that take less ink.

Opt for the SE to avoid that extra 'H' badge on the rear, better yet get the car totally de-badged.

Oh, and drive everywhere naked of course. Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+

Though in all fairness to the OP, I'm guessing he meant significantly, and the answer I think would be no. Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+

On a serious note Whistle

...I bet the tyre weighs in the region of a full tank of fuel so leave the tyre in place and run on empty all the time, that way you can continually visit petrol stations and have a poo/wee everytime you visit to optimise your own performance weight.

Can one of the mathamaticians (?sp sorry) work out the % benefit of removing a tyre (dot know how many kgs) from a 2.5 tonne vehicle!

Quite a few years (decades !) ago I had a Ginetta G15, the one with the rear mounted imp engine, all 875 cc's. It weighed about 8cwt & I did an experiment of taking the front mounted spare wheel & jack out - it did make a slight difference, & also raised the front end a bit. The vastly increased tendency for terminal front end wash-out in the wet was an additional exciting feature - noting the grp fuel tank directly over the drivers legs and immediately adjacent to the front bumper.. The driver (me) weighed about 9 stone then too which made the weight ratios useful.

In an RRS ? - Rolling with laughter You've got the wrong car maybe. Get an X5 or a Cayenne. D2 - D3- RRS onwards & upwards !
