I can't seem to get my removable Tow Ball unit to fit into the receptor. It goes in and appears to click in place

Finally got the damn thing to locate properly! Took much pushing & wiggling and a few choice words combined with a kick & then it suddenly clicked in to place. The problem seems to be the big locking bolt that pops out the rear of the unit and is obviously a very neat fit with it's receptor hole. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Lespes, in case you weren't aware, the key should not be able to be removed from the lock unless tow hook is fitted,(or you trigger it as if it were fitted), and in the locked position. Hope that's not too late, and that you haven't busted it . RRS TDV8 Buck Blue (no, not now in my dreams). ..........D3 TDclankety clankV6 ............BMW 318i |

Yep, It's a real B tch Now I know why I see so many with "removable" Tow Bars that are just left fitted! Think I may be joining the ranks of those that just can't be arsed taking the damn thing off!! I've got better things to do with my time...... like maybe contemplate the fluff in my belly button 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
