Is there a reason for you inserting the icon in your question? I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks. |

I had Yokohama Advans fitted to my S8...In fact they were also factory fitted as standard. I thought they were brilliant having good traction in dry and wet conditions...used to get about 13000 miles between changes which for a high performance car was exceptional....I think you have made a shrewd choice |

Hi Jonty...Ok I have never been a slouch but I can't say I was altogether brutal with the car either. According to Perth Audi Yokohama made an advan tyre especially for the car and was fitted as standard...in fact it was called an advanS8 so whether the compound was different to other advans I'm not sure but the service manager assured me that he had S8's coming in for tyre changes at much less than 13000 .. what I can say is that they cost me £270 each and I agree with you gets very expensive if you do anything more than very average mileage http://www.prnewswire.co.uk/cgi/news/release?id=175602 |
