England

I recently got the ferry from Amsterdam to Hull......didn't fancy the standard cabin/prison cell, upgraged to Club Class for a reasonable £60 and got a huge cabin, 4 windows, tv, dvd, marble effect large bathroom, mini bar, dressing gowns etc.

Was fantastic for £60!

I'd recommend that.

The Rosyth ferry is a bit basic when compared with the DFDS Newcastle/Ijmuden ferry we normally take. The food is not as good as the Superfast that used to be on the run, I was begining to think that Norfolklines had put the Midnight Merchant on the run Shocked To think it is the same company as Tim's, but I do know it will be a long day before I go back on that ship. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Hey, thanks for asking!

Yes, spent 4 hours at the airport on Wednesday seeing if my flight would go but it didn't in the end. Queued to see what flight they could next get me on, though the day before the best they had been able to offer me was Saturday via Paris, so I was quite surprised when they said Thursday at 5:00pm, direct to Manchester.

And by Thursday everything was more or less back to normal, so was home in Shropshire by 8:00 Thursday night.

Just a PITA for me, but I really do feel sorry for families with kids who have been stuck at airports (and some still are) having to pay for everything themselves and who will now have a struggle to get anything back from some of the airlines. Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+
