Have to agree with everthing you say...Absolutely no feel good factor on delivery, I remember when I bought the S8 there were flowers, Thorntons deluxe chocolates and an Audi jacket of my choice... I was also introduced to the senior RS technician appointed to look after my car!!! I remember driving from the garage with a huge grin on my face and feeling like a bit of a superstar ......Anyway so far so good with the RRS and if that means less visits to the dealership then thats just fine and the quicker I will get over the poor hand over ceremony |

Glad it has been a case of so far so good! What model BM did you trade in against it?

I jumped from a 3 month old 650 Convertible - took some getting used to - but now I feels it's the best car I have ever had! |

Very weird.....not sure I liked it first, but after a month I was in love. Like the leisurely pace of it, as opposed to the 650 which I had to drive fast all the time |

I know exactly what you mean...I had the same feeling in the S8 always driving on the edge..one eye on the road the other in the mirror just never wanted anyone to pass me. In the end always felt knackered after a long journey |

I'm in the same boat as well coming from an M5, and previously an RS6 Avant, so quite looking forward to just cruising along. (sorry about the continuing fred drift...) My dealership experience has been top notch, but then I did follow the forum advice thankfully. This time tomorrow I will probably be driving around randomly somewhere after picking mine up tomorrow arvo. |
