Dealer Trouble (advise Please)

Hi All

I have been back in contact with the dealer about my new car after X5PEA had given me a realistic price on my car.£29,000
the stealer wasn't happy with the news i had to give him.
i had a price for the car in January of £27,000 against MY2010 with a delivery date of March 25th
i still haven't had the said car and the dealer wants to charge me the new government stealth tax.
which i am refusing to pay at the moment.

My dilemma is iv'e been to another Stealer today and they offered me £30,000 for my car and a possible discount on a new one. the only problem is MY2010 is ready in 10 days and if i cancel i should get my deposit back but will have to wait until
July for the next one

Do you think the dealer should do me a better deal ???? 2017 Range Rover Sport SVR

You need to read the t's & c's with the order to see if the delivery date is exact or estimate (ours is approximate), and to see if they are responsible for increases in VAT or Excise Duty, and finally if your deposit is refundable. If there is any breach then both parties need to reach a compromise (yours being that the car is late and theirs that the difference in road tax and showroom tax).

Alternatively, sell the PX to the other dealer, save £3k and accept the showroom tax (you'll still be up £2450). Just make sure they know it's been chipped (as per signature) as this would affect what we would give as a value as we would auction it.

Hope this helps?

Yes i can put it back to standard, the car just needs to be reset.
it's a turbo chip remap.
Which iv'e been told is the remap the dealers used.

I will get that sorted tomorrow.
