Good amusement factor at Kwikfit then - watching them jack away and the car getting higher - but wheels still staying firmly on the ground Smile Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+

Most tyre places probably use a trolley jack, and if lifting from the wishbone (not officially recommended, but it works), it is easier if the car is in access height.

A little piece of advise when changing wheels especially when using the supplied jack - always put the the spare/removed wheel under the car so that is the jack fails or the car falls off the car isn't grounded. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I'm back to Kwik-Fit this week sometime as still got the slow after a valve change. Rest assured I'll be plastered to the inspection window to see what's going on.
