as you can see this is my 1st post so be gentle with me,i do not yet have a rrs however ive come to you
for some advise so sorry if this is the wrong area for such.
what would you say is the better idea,ive seen a very nice 09 plate tdv06 with a stormer body kit,however
i do like my toys and have also found an 08 plate tdv06 hse cheaper both same milage.

Contemplating buying an RRS (have been lucky enough to have a Porsche 911 for a few years but it must go and I had many happy years in LR 110 and then Defenders in the past so I fancy a complete change from the 911 but I need something with a little more motorway compatibility and comfort)

I have had a good old search of the forums and I'll try not to double post but the questions I have for all the owners out there are:
Fuel Consumption - How close in real life do people get to the official stats posted by LR? I spend most of my time on the motorway these days so even in the 911 I exceed the combined cycle but would be good to know how realistic they are as I do BIG miles.
Reliability - I read horror stories from the past, is life much better now as there isnt much data on neweer RRS
Model - is the Petrol version considered an abomination? I like it still (just for the noise) but probably a case of heart over head!
Recommended dealers and deals - anyone seen any good finance ot lease deals? (Personal) and recommendations of a deal with service a cut above (Berkshire/Hampshire/Home counties)

Just took delivery of a new Santorini black RRS HSE.
This is our family car (mainly hijacked by my other half) and is a direct replacement for our 3 year old Audi Q7.

Have to say the RRS is in another league. We're both over the moon with the car.

Just did a few miles with the XC90 of a friend. Horrendous car — nice drive — but truly as much appeal as a PC heatsink.

Just been informed by Lombard that my RRS will not arrive till end of April
I was getting all excited thinking it was arriving at the end of March and have even bought the side steps
Enjoying reading all the posts by members and look forward to giving some input to the site when my RRS arrives  Don't knock it till youv'e tried it!!!!!
