You're very near Loch Mhor but over the hill to the North west is Loch Ness (The S.E. side) great scenery and quiet roads. You're not too far from Either Fort William or Inverness as you are positioned approx half way down the length of Loch Ness. Loads of places to visit and some great roads for having fun in the RRS. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Difficult to predict the snow but to be honest you don't want anything like we had this year .... You'd probably not even get there! But who knows what next Christmas will bring... Either way there will almost definately be snow on the high peaks and it can be gorgeous when snow is in the hills but green in the lower areas. I'm sure you'll enjoy it either way 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

There's the Loch Ness visitors centres and also boat trips but not sure if they run all year. In Newtomore there's the Waltzing Waters, just don't drink much before you go in! Plenty various Whiskey Trail distilleries round there! Can recommend the Dalwhinnie 1 from experience! There's always Cairngorm with its lift up the mountain!
