Scotland for Christmas

i no this is far to early to be thinking about Christmas but in my infinite wisdom ive agreed to take the Mrs, 3 kids and the in laws to scotland for crimbo this yr.
A old friend of mine owns a place just out side of the village of Errogie ,ive got the place free of charge from the 21st-28th dec but 1. ive promised the kids there will be snow and 2. i said there would be loads of things to do there.
Have i just shot my self in the foot and now have a crimbo stuck in a house in the middle of now where with the in laws and 2 bored kids and a Censored mrs? Help??

This is where you need Tim, but he's off playing Iggle Piggle at the moment...

But it's apparently only 18 miles from Inverness so you've not got too far to go if you want (comparative) civilisation...

You're very near Loch Mhor but over the hill to the North west is Loch Ness (The S.E. side) great scenery and quiet roads. You're not too far from Either Fort William or Inverness as you are positioned approx half way down the length of Loch Ness. Loads of places to visit and some great roads for having fun in the RRS. Difficult to predict the snow but to be honest you don't want anything like we had this year .... You'd probably not even get there! But who knows what next Christmas will bring... Either way there will almost definately be snow on the high peaks and it can be gorgeous when snow is in the hills but green in the lower areas. I'm sure you'll enjoy it either way Thumbs Up 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

glencoe and Nevis was beautiful when i was there last weekend Thumbs Up

I sat on the slopes nursing a bent back little finger after a fall thinking Censored that hurts but that views amazing, the unplanned drive home to Leeds Saturday evening as the sun was setting over the mountains just past glencoe was one of the best sunsets i have seen with the clouds shades of orange and purple

Great area to be with a bit of snow, wearing the Christmas jumper and scarf will make it even better Thumbs Up

There's the Loch Ness visitors centres and also boat trips but not sure if they run all year. In Newtomore there's the Waltzing Waters, just don't drink much before you go in! Plenty various Whiskey Trail distilleries round there! Can recommend the Dalwhinnie 1 from experience! There's always Cairngorm with its lift up the mountain!

If I come up with owt else I'll post it up for you. Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

535d m-sport Platinum grey and a few extras.... Gone

X5 3.0 sd in Space Grey, 20's, Dynamic Pack, Memory Pack, Media Pack, Tow Pack, Rear DVD, Panoramic Sunroof, Steps, 7 Seat Pack, Reversing Camera with moving lines, programmable park heat, etc etc etc - Gone

Range Rover Sport Santorini, privacy, dvd, towpack GONE!!!
