basically because its not a shortcut - its an actual icon that wasn't launched with the package but still exists in the core. I've read it also works on 32-bit Vista too so its been around for a while |

I think they mean System Preferences, you know the icon with the cogs on it. You might have used it when you personalised your mac all those years ago; PC owners seem to like fiddling with that sort of stuff [stands back and waits for howls and wines about market share etc etc etc] Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate |

Using both PC and Mac I prefer the Mac, but neither is perfect. A Mac can do anything a PC can do because it can be a PC, a PC can't be a Mac. FWIW I think if you are techy and enjoy fiddling with the PC then they are the same; for those that don't want hassle the Mac is superior. I have only heard of one person having given the Mac a fair crack to go back to PCs. They bought an iMac and ended up using Boot Camp - they reckoned it was the best PC they had ever owned
