If you are Travelling from Yorkshire the your choices are probably either Liverpool - Dublin Approx 8 hours . Liverpool(Birkenhead) - Dublin Approx 7 Hours or if you want to drive further and sail less then there's holyhead in Wales which takes 3.5 hours to Dublin. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

The other option is Heysham - Douglas on the Isle of Man then onward to Dublin which would be the shortest drive but longest total journey time. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Went from Holyhead to Dublin on the Irsih Ferries high speed thingy in Summer 08 and although the trip was reasonably short neither my wife nor I were entirely comfortable on the crossings. It wasn't particularly rough out there but the 'ship' wallows in a rather odd fashion and we both found it quite unpleasant. Would not rush to Ireland again anyway but if we did certainly not via that route for preference. Gordon Kerr

Associated with the Caravan Industry, but more on the periphery than in it ![]() Hull is certainly the epicentre of that industry all right. I know it's a bit further from you, but Aer Lingus fly from MAN to DUB. Which is an altogether more civilised way to fly than Ryanair.
It's about the longest I'd put up with them too ![]() |
